Review and highlights
Personally I read a lot of books, mainly about bitcoin and various topics that are somehow related. But this particular book completely captivated me, it is a masterpiece, a roadmap for every man who is in a process of growth and in search of a higher purpose.
Dedicated to bitcoiners, who stand to benefit financially from the great wealth transfer that is taking place, the book emphasises that true wealth is in the inner values and not in the outer. Values are the spirit in which we do things, they are the most important thing because they define who we really are, beyond what we have.
These values cannot be acquired with money, fiat, gold or bitcoin, they must be cultivated with patience and practised on a daily basis.
As we live in times of darkness, transition and madness, at the end of one cycle and the beginning of another, bushido appears as a light on the path to truly understand who we need to become to achieve what we want, understanding that values are the root, a metaphysical science that transcends religious beliefs.
It is important to recognise that we are at war. This war is not new, I call it the war of all ages and it is a war between slavery and freedom. Our ancestors have been fighting this war for millennia, and it is thanks to the warriors of the past that we are here now, enjoying our freedoms and all the things of modern life.
This eternal war is interdimensional: it is a spiritual, intellectual and physical war. To win, or at least have a worthy battle, we must start from the spiritual realm, the source of all. Only by becoming strong spirits and expanding consciousness can we win then on the physical side.
If we are trapped in the physical aspect and try to fight and mould ourselves from there, we will most likely not achieve any meaningful results. The war starts from within and this book is here to help us with exactly that.
What you do on the physical plane is what you are in the intellectual and spiritual realms. The physical is the result of the metaphysical, and only by understanding this can we understand the immorality, the criminality, the ugliness and the failure of the present system. These are the bad fruits of a diseased tree.
The materialistic view of humanity is what brought us here: Marxist, Keynesian, collectivist, mob rule democracies and every ideology and system that ignores the universal truths. Such systems are destined to fail from the start. And this is a direct result of the immorality of the monetary system, which helped support the information war against us with lies, indoctrination and false mental models under which most people operate.
As if that were not enough, they are generating a death spiral that is destroying families, the fundamental core of our humanity. The ideologies, distractions and challenges of the modern world are leading us in a completely opposite direction to the one our ancestors followed, and it is not hard to see that that direction is the abyss.
The miracle of being alive means that we had 4096 ancestors during the last 10 generations before us. That implies that there were 2048 couples of men and women who overcame hardship, built civilisation, learned, taught, fought, reproduced and died. They went through all of this and who knows what else had to happen for us to be here and now.
This is a sign of gratitude to be alive and an awakening of a desire to honour our ancestors. We have in our blood a strand of DNA that contains unique information from all of them. If we do not follow the chain of descent we literally throw away all that past, dishonour our blood and eliminate our lineage; the implications are gigantic, millennia of biological, intellectual and economic generational wealth thrown away.
And this is exactly what is being gestated through various means by the power structures. It goes beyond the fact that they are extracting our economic wealth through fiat money that is closer to collapse every day, they are also extracting our spiritual and biological wealth. This is the real three-dimensional war.
The warrior archetype is an integral part that we must embody in order to become men, to overcome the challenges and difficulties that lie ahead, to build a better world order from the ashes of the old and to leave a legacy for our future generations.
Becoming the best version of ourselves is not only something we do for ourselves but also for our loved ones and the rest of society. Bushido teaches us that it is our duty to do our best and aim for excellence. Only by being better in all aspects can we build better things and help more people; by helping ourselves, we can help others.
The word samurai roughly translates as ‘those who serve’. Once you start having better financial results, you realise that this is not what you think you wanted; material wealth is not what makes you happy. True wealth comes from the virtues we choose to live by, the human canvases we manage to forge throughout our lives and the footprints we leave behind. Wealth is not something we possess but something we are.
We are here to grow, to learn, to create, to procreate and to serve. We find happiness in serving others, but to help others we must first help ourselves. This book helps you clarify what virtues we need to incorporate into our lives and why, in order to become the best version of ourselves.
Aleks Svetski has a strong personality and a clear purpose, he embodies the virtues of truthfulness and sincerity, aspects that I respect and admire. In a world where most people are afraid to speak the truth because of what others might think, doing so without caring and facing the consequences is rare and necessary.
If more people had this personality, we would not be in this situation. The status quo has reached this level of madness and tyranny because people do not want to see, hear and speak the truth. As the famous quote goes: ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing’.
A bunch of parasites run this system because not enough people have stood up and fought against it. We are so comfortable with our modern life that we take our freedom for granted, but we are losing it very quickly and we must take action as soon as possible.
As this system crumbles, new challenges and difficulties arise, and we must prepare ourselves because financial collapse and cycle changes are a mathematical certainty and there is nowhere to go, so we must fight.
The modern system has cut us off from our roots, our traditions, nature, the origin of the products we consume, the use of our hands, the struggle against cold, heat, wind and all the real challenges of facing nature.
This has created weak and domesticated men, unable to stand for themselves, with no idea of who they are and where they come from, living like domesticated animals. It is not surprising that testosterone levels are at historic lows and, of course, this is by design. The aim is to weaken our culture with degeneration and ugliness.
The easiest way to defeat your enemy is to keep him in the shadows, ignorant, distracted by meaningless nonsense, hooked on drugs, pornography and all kinds of cheap dopamine to kill his energy and willpower. And this is exactly what they have been doing to our society, and we passively let them carry on.
Again, there is nothing new under the sun; everything in nature is cyclical, and surprise, surprise, we are part of nature, that is why the rise and fall of empires and civilisations is cyclical.
Weak men are a direct result of weak money, but thanks to strong and smart men like Satoshi and all those involved in the process of improving the bitcoin protocol since its inception, we are at a turning point.
With bitcoin we have the opportunity to protect our time and energy outside the system in an incorruptible and immutable network, keeping parasites away from our money, but this is not the solution to all problems. Money is a means to an end, not an end in itself. Bitcoin is the tool, but we are the ones who carry this tool, and with great power comes great responsibility.
It is our duty and responsibility to do better, to be better and to turn this madness around. But this is not a call for all men. Changes in the human world are driven by less than 5% of active individuals, and 95% simply go with the flow. Svetski addresses this small minority (the lions, not the sheep) with the capacity to make an impact, build empires and shape the future for the better. Not only for ourselves, but also for our loved ones and those who will come after us.
We are now in a crisis of leadership; the weak men running the show have created a bigger and bigger problem, kicking the can down the road and doing nothing to solve any fundamental problems.
People worship celebrities, prostitutes and fiat billionaires. The lack of a strong male father figure and a powerful female mother figure is easy to spot, and this is a big problem. People are desperate to follow someone to show them the way, but this cannot be faked. Given these facts, it is our duty and responsibility to become such leaders and figures.
The Bushido of Bitcoin is a roadmap for the future leaders of the new world on a Bitcoin standard. To win this war, we need to embody this set of virtues, skills, behaviours and actions.
I personally consider it a comprehensive tool for understanding how we can elevate our personality, our attitude to life, so that we can be better and do better things, serving and protecting our people in the challenging times we live in, so that we can live a full life and go to our death in peace, knowing that we leave a better world than we found and future generations who will continue to enjoy and improve it.
